1. Install 2” PVC conduit approximately 340 feet from the Press Box to handhole #1. Additional conduit on outside of press box to second floor. Run 24 strand singlemode fiber from the press box to handhole #4 through the new and existing conduit. 24F SM to terminate in a new rackmounted fiber patch panel in the press box. 2. Install a new handhole in the existing conduit on the east side of the playground, between handholes 1 and 2. Install a new handhole at the base of utility pole 33/21 on Orange St. Install 1” PVC conduit between the two handholes. Run 12 strand singlemode fiber through the conduit, leaving a 50’ ring cut coil in the new handhole at pole 33/21. 3. At handhole 3, install a new 1” conduit to the nearest lightpost, approximately 35’. At handhole 4, install a new 1” conduit to the nearest light post, approximately 15’. Install new fiber from each handhole to light post. Install two power outlets at each lightpole. 4. Fiber strand splicing assignments to be confirmed with Chelsea Public Schools IT prior to execution. 5. Lay warning tape at 6” above all new conduit. 6. The baseball field has an irrigation system. Heads can be identified but exact location of the lines are not know. Contractor is responsible for any repairs to damaged irrigation heads or lines. 7. Contractor shall test all fiber and provide results to the City. 8. As-builts documenting the location of the new conduit shall be provided at the conclusion of the project. 9. City will pay for any necessary police details. 10. Standard work schedule of ~7am to ~3pm is expected.
