The Future PMO will: Strategic Alignment: We can assess proposals based on business outcomes and translate strategy into a timeline of business outcomes and deliverables. Visibility and Reporting: We can deliver comprehensive analytics and reporting capability at the portfolio, program, and project levels to support informed decision-making and enable the creating and sharing of project dashboards for Executive Leadership updates. We can consistently track information within projects and across the project portfolio. Demand Management & Prioritization: We can facilitate strategic decision-making regarding project prioritization and intake best practices. We have standardized processes (e.g., intake, prioritization, selection) Resource Management Planning: We can provide clarity on resource allocation, understanding who is working on what, and forecasting future resource needs for projects. Project Planning and Execution We can support various work approaches – from Agile to collaborative, to traditional, or a combination of these. We can integrate as needed with existing tools such as Jira, Power BI, and MS Project Online, Planner & Teams to streamline project planning, backlog management, and task tracking across all portfolios. We can track projects and monitor key deliverables, risks, and controls for various project types. We can enable effective management of project interdependencies within and across portfolios, programs, and projects. We are flexible and can strategically respond to disruptions.
