Specifications include, but are not limited to: Firms interested in providing Management Services for the MassMutual Center located in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Authority seeks a qualified, experienced professional management firm to assure that the MassMutual Center will continue to operate as an active multipurpose facility, and to market, sell and operate its arena, convention, meeting, and ballroom space. The selected management firm will work cooperatively with the Greater Springfield Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (“GSCVB”) which plays an active role in the area, marketing the Pioneer Valley as a destination as well as participating in the marketing of the facility as both a live entertainment venue and a convention and meeting location. The Authority will require the management firm to adopt an operating approach that will maximize economic benefits to the Springfield and Pioneer Valley area as well as maximize revenues to offset operating expenses.
