Specifications include, but are not limited to: Essential Functions: Broadcasting and Videotaping - All Tasks will be done at the direction of the Media Coordinator or Town Manager Serves as back up or secondary for live, recorded, cablecasts and/or play back of municipal meetings, community functions and topics of interest as provided and/or approved. Meetings are currently being held in person and via electronic format, Zoom and Zoom webinar. Assists with in-house and remote field cable setup and production, special projects, and government channel outreach activities as directed. Must be able to accommodate showing live one meeting while recording simultaneous meetings at town hall or in electronic format (as many as four at once). Operates computers, network devices and digital video equipment, including cameras, mixers, video servers, DVD recorders and bulletin board systems. Field Production and Editing Assists with the management of remote field production of programs, special projects and events, as designated by the Media Coordinator or Town Administration using TV production equipment provided by the town. This includes transporting equipment in contractor’s own vehicle to and from Town Hall as needed. Assists with house sound and videobroadcast of Town Meeting, must have working knowledge of PA sound systems in coordination with Media Coordinator. It is anticipated that a minimum of two weeks’ notice will be required, prior to undertaking any field production, so that the production details can be planned efficiently. It is expected that the consultant will be needed 5 to 10 hours a month on average and will work on a monthly schedule that is provided by the Town. No work hours shall be dedicated to projects that have not been approved by Town Administration. Special Projects require an estimate of the amount of time they will take and an estimated budget. It is anticipated that a minimum of two weeks’ notice will be required, prior to undertaking any field production, so that the production details can be planned efficiently.
