Specifications include, but are not limited to: The services required are detailed for Sections One (1) through Eight (8) of the Spicket River. The selected non-profit organization will be expected to: - Utilize flat bottom boats and wading techniques to extract tires, discarded shopping carts, mattresses, appliances, and other large debris from the river. - Clean and remove all trash and debris from the river and shorelines, including floatable items and hypodermic needles. - Selectively cut out brush and invasive vines that are choking and killing local trees along the riverbanks. - Address blockages that are obstructing the flow of the river and collect large pieces of trash and or debris. - Ensure all collected waste is hauled back to the organization's facility and disposed of properly, in compliance with environmental regulations. Provide a written report upon request detailing the date, times, tonnage and a description of debris removed as well as photo documentation. - Provide trained employees capable of handling and disposing of hazardous materials such as hypodermic needles.
