This Bid Invitation covers: rental of storage facility space for grant procured items and equipment for Region 2 Health & Medical Coalition as per the requirements and specifications of the City of Worcester for a period from date of contract through June 30, 2025, and at the sole discretion of the City to renew for a second and third year. The option to be determined at the end of the current contract period. • The storage space must be a minimum of 900 sq. ft. and be climate-controlled year-round. Configurations of multiple units at the same address to achieve this minimum amount (such as two units next to each other) may be considered, as long as all units meet the requirements set forth in this bid. • The facility must have 24/7/365 controlled access, and the grounds should be well lit. • The storage unit will be in a facility that is clean, with appropriate building maintenance and pest control. • City of Worcester staff shall have 24/7/365 access to the units within one hour of notification to the facility. • At least one storage unit shall be located on the ground level and will need to have the ability to receive deliveries through a door large enough to fit pallets on a pallet jack. The storage unit shall be in an area where large delivery trucks and other vehicles are able to pull up for loading and unloading. If a unit is located on the second floor or above, it must be accessible by a regularly serviced elevator. • No vehicles or combustible materials will be stored in the unit, with the potential exceptions of hand sanitizer, batteries, and/or a pallet jack. • The facility shall be located within twenty-five miles and/or 45 minutes of 25 Meade Street in Worcester, MA 01610.
