Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of Work A. Execution of Work Plan 1. Work will be performed as detailed in the Work Plan and approved by City DPW & Public Space and Urban Forestry department. Any modifications to the Work Plan made in the field must be approved by the City DPW & Public Space and Urban Forestry department prior to the work being done. 2. All work to be performed will be carried out by qualified individuals. While work is being done, at least one Certified Horticulturalist will oversee the work and to ensure the work is performed according to best horticultural practices. Names and certification numbers of Horticultural credentials will be submitted and approved by the City DPW & Public Space and Urban Forestry department before any work occurs. 3. All work will be performed in accordance with the Horticultural Work Specifications described below (Section II. Horticultural Work Specifications). 4. Contractor will provide schedule for all projects so that parks may be closed if necessary. Ample time must be given in order to make arrangements for park closures; therefore all work must be scheduled with the City DPW & Public Space and Urban Forestry department at least 10 business days before the commencement of work.
