This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 6913G624Q300047 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-04, effective May 01, 2024. The NAICS Code is 721110 and the Small Business size standard is $40 million. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside.
The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), Cambridge, MA, requires lodging accomodations with specific ammenities within a .75 mile radius of the Volpe Center.
REQUIREMENTS
The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. This notice is expected to result in a single award, subject to receipt of an acceptable proposal. Please provide a firm fixed price quote in accordance with the attached, Contract Line-Item Numbers (CLINS) pricing sheet, Statement of Work, and the Instructions to Offerors and Evaluation Criteria.
This combined synopsis/solicitation hereby incorporates all Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions and clauses contained herein.
Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Quoters-Commercial Items and Services, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
All Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (attached). An Offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the Offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM) accessed through http://www.sam.gov. If the Offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically, the Offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (v)) of this provision.
