Specifications include, but are not limited to: Massasoit Community College has been selected by the Department of Labor to lead a consortium of fifteen (15) Massachusetts community colleges in the GPSTEM initiative (the Consortium). The intent of this program is to assist eligible participants in developing the skills necessary to secure entry and mid-level employment in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers. The Consortium, in collaboration with industry, will develop or enhance STEM degrees and certificates to best prepare students for STEM careers. The Consortium Funding for this project is via a United States Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant SGA-DFA-PY-13-10 . The targeted population for this program is TAA eligible workers, unemployed and underemployed workers and Veterans.
