Bidder shall supply all materials, labor and equipment to install the new security doors. Successful bidder shall require certification and approval from the building supplier to validate warranty requirements. The bidder shall include all labor, materials, equipmentequipment, services and transportation to complete the work. All workmen shall be skilled and qualified for the work that they perform. All materials used, unless otherwise specified, shall be new and of the types and grades specified. Provide insurance covering 100% replacement value of the work. Provide Certificates of Insurance demonstrating liability insurance, workers compensation, and other requirements of the contract attached hereto and naming the Town as additionally insured that includes a waiver of subrogation. Acquisition of all required building permits. Contractor shall be responsible for meeting OSHA requirements. Remove existing doors, hardware, and associated components. Modify masonry walls as needed to accommodate new door hardware. Install new sliding doors and frames per specifications. Modify wood lockdown bench and steel rail to integrate with new doors. Relocate cell sensor as required. Perform necessary plaster repairs and repaint affected areas. Patch and restore epoxy flooring where disturbed. Remove all debris, old doors, and materials; clean work area upon completion. Door Specifications: Install two (2) sliding door frames with integral header and lock column. Install two (2) sliding doors equipped with: Observation window and food pass for security and functionality. 7/8" laminated security glass for durability and inmate monitoring. Paracentric key system for enhanced security and controlled access. Compliance & Approval Requirements: All work must comply with the International Building Code (IBC) 10th Edition, 105 CMR 470, and applicable regulations. Contractor must seek design approval from the Owner prior to installation.
