Description

Sealed Bids for the construction of the “Dix Street, Amostown Road, Morgan Road, and Riverdale Street Pump Station Improvements” will be received by the Department of Public Works at the Town Hall, 26 Central Street, West Springfield, MA 01089 until 10:00 A.M. local time on June 24, 2021. Bids received will be publicly opened and read on a conference call only on June 24, 2021 at 10:15 AM. Conference call information is provided in the Bid Documents. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “IFB 21-0031 Dix Street, Amostown Road, Morgan Road, and Riverdale Street Pump Station Improvements.”
Sealed Bids from Subcontractors addressed as referenced above will be received by the Department of Public Works at the Town Hall, 26 Central Street, West Springfield, MA 01089 until 10:00 A.M. on June 17, 2021. Bids received will be publicly opened and read on a conference call only on June 17, 2021 at 10:15 AM. Conference call information is provided in the Bid Documents. A non-mandatory pre-Bid conference will be held at the Dix Street Pump Station on June 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM. The number of people allowed within the pump station at one time will be limited to six (6) people. Attendees will be required to comply with the “Sector Specific Workplace Safety Standards for Construction Sites to Address COVID-19.”

THIS LISTING IS FOR THE SUB-BIDDER PORTION OF THIS BID. GENERAL BID SUBMISSIONS MADE TO THIS LISTING WILL BE DISCARDED
Proposers shall submit One (1) original and One (1) copy of the bid. The outside of the sealed
envelope should clearly read “IFB 21-0031 Dix Street, Amostown Road, Morgan Road, and
Riverdale Street Pump Station Improvements- SUB-BID” In addition, prospective bidders have the
opportunity to submit their bids electronically via BidNetDirect. There is also a special mailbox set
up in the lobby of the Town Hall labeled “bids” for bidders who wish to physically drop off their
bids. No bids will be accepted after the above stated dates and times for Bidders and Sub-Bidders
respectively.
Bids received will be publicly opened and read on a conference call only on June 17, 2021 at 10:15 AM. The conference call-in number is provided in the Project Manual
