The Town of West Springfield, Department of Public Works, is requesting qualification statements and proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive “On‑Call Engineering Services”. The selected firm shall report to and be responsible to the Department of Public Works, Robert J. Colson, Director or any person appointed by the Director.
To be considered, sealed proposals must be submitted in triplicate to the Town of West Springfield Department of Public works, Municipal Office Building, 26 Central Street, West Springfield, MA 01089, by 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 26, 2022. The envelope should be clearly marked on the outside “Proposal for On‑Call Engineering Services”. The Town of West Springfield reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted. The Department of Public Works and its appointed agents will evaluate proposals submitted.
During the evaluation process, the Town of West Springfield reserves the right, where it may serve the Town’s best interest, to request additional information or clarifications from proposer. At the discretion of the Town, firms submitting proposals may also be requested to make oral presentations as part of the evaluation process.
The Town of West Springfield reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and to use any ideas in a proposal, regardless of whether that proposal is selected. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions contained in the request for proposals, unless clearly and specifically noted in the proposal submitted and confirmed in the contract between the Town of West Springfield and the selected firm.
