Sealed bids for “ Traffic Signal Repairs, Street Light Repairs, Installation & Betterments ” in said West Springfield will be received by the Director of Public Works at his office in the J. Edward Christian Municipal Office Building until 10:00AM on August 5, 2021 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.
The work of this contract is on an On-Call basis and includes repairs, installations and betterments of the Town’s traffic signals, traffic control equipment, street lights, and other such alterations as may from time to time be directed by the Director of Public Works or his designee. The contract will be for services based upon an hourly rate compensation of workers for both electrician and non-electrician labor and hourly rate compensation for utilization of contractor’s bucket/utility truck. Parts and supplies will be billed at a percentage above the manufacturer’s price.
