Services will be performed under order of the Deputy Director of Fleet and Facilities or designee. Work must be completed in the criteria below, all 92 shelters and 8 benches. In the event service is needed, the Deputy Director of Fleet and Facilities or designee must be able to reach someone at company to initiate services. The number of shelters/ benches may change. • Up to one inch of ice shelters will be salted. This will be completed for all shelters within 36 hours after weather event ordered by Deputy Director of Fleet and Facilities or designee. • Up to two inches of snow the shelters will be salted, and snow removed within 48 hours after weather event ordered by Deputy Director of Fleet and Facilities or designee. • Over two inches of snow but less than 4 inches, shelters will be salted, and snow removed within 72 hours after weather event ordered by Deputy Director of Fleet and Facilities or designee. • Over 4 inches but less than 6 inches, shelters will be salted, and snow removed within 96 hours after weather event ordered by Deputy Director of Fleet and Facilities or designee. • Over 6 inches, shelters will be salted, and snow removed within 120 hours after weather event but could be extended due to severe weather or unsafe conditions as ordered by the Deputy Director of Fleet and Facilities or designee. • Snow removal will include removal of snow inside the shelter • Snow removal requires at least a 36-inch path to the nearest sidewalk or curb for access to the bus for ADA accessibility. • Application of ice melt to maintain a safe walkway for passengers to the bus • Communication to the Deputy Director of Fleet and Facilities when work is completed
