The Contractor must perform a Pre-installation Walkthrough within one (1) calendar day of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor must install a six-foot (6') chain link fence around the perimeter of the work area within three (3) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Panel fencing is expressly prohibited without the consent and authorization from the Construction and Demolition Department. The Contractor must install the fence and the gate in accordance with manufacturer instructions and applicable industry standards/specifications. The fence must meet the following specifications: I. Corner/Terminal Posts. Three inch (3") diameter, SS 40; II. Line Posts. Two and a half inch (2.5") diameter, SS 40; III. Corner/Terminal and Line Plates. Six inch (6") by six inch (6") by one-quarter inch (1/4") plate secured by one-half inch (1/2") by three and three-quarter inch (3-3/4") wedge bolts; IV. Gate Posts. Six and five-eighth inch (6-5/8") diameter, SS 40. V. Gate Plates. Twelve inch (12") by twelve inch (12") by one-quarter inch (1/4") plate secured by one-half inch (1/2") by three and three-quarter inch (3-3/4") wedge bolts; VI. Fabric. Nine gauge - two inch (2"); VII. Gate. At least one gate of sufficient width to allow access for heavy equipment. Secure the gate with a chain and a padlock;
