Wayne State University (WSU) is seeking qualified firms to submit a proposal for FMLA Administration services for Continuous and Intermittent leaves. The UNIVERSITY seeks to develop a Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) process that complies with the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA) regulations published in the Federal Register including any future amendments to the current act and in accordance with Wayne State University Family and Medical Leave Act Policy, set forth. This law provides eligible employees with important rights to job protection for absences due to the birth, adoption of a child, or foster care, or for a serious health condition of the employee or a qualifying family member or to care for injured service members and because of any qualifying exigency arising out of the fact that a covered family member is on active duty or has been notified of an impending call to active duty status in support of a contingency operation.
