The objective is to deliver professional high-quality food service that meets or exceeds established nutritional and health standards and other pertinent regulatory requirements established by law, regulations, executive orders, ordinances, and policy of Local, State, Federal governing entities, or other regulatory agencies. This includes, but is not limited to, operating the food service program in a costeffective manner with full reporting and accountability to Kent County, continuing staff education/training for assigned food service employees, and in respect to the inmate’s court-established right to basic health and nutritional standards. The County seeks proposals for quality food services based on industry best practices and Respondent’s qualifications for the contract period in lieu of attempts to duplicate existing or prior service contracts.
