The Bidder shall complete stabilization work at the County Fairgrounds buildings Horse Barn 1, Cattle Barn, located at 648 W Cloverland Drive, Ironwood, Michigan. Horse Barn 1 requires the replacement of wooden curbs with concrete curbs and footings, replacement of rotten and damaged wood structural members, stabilization the existing structural framing and adding additional structural members, and miscellaneous structural improvements in order to get the building up to current wind load and snow load codes The Cattle Barn includes replacement of clerestory windows, replacement of rotten and damaged wood structural members, stabilization of existing structural framing and additional structural members, roof damage repair, and tuck pointing and masonry repairs. It is the intent of the GCLBA to have one general contractor to complete the work with subcontractors as necessary.
