2.1.3. System Requirements 2.1.3.1. General Requirements 2.1.3.1.1. The preferred vendors for this project are Aruba Networks, Ruckus or equivalent. Any tier-one vendor will be seriously considered if the equipment proposed meets the stated requirements. 2.1.3.1.2. The system should be supported by a three-year service contract that provides 24x7 technical support and Next Business Day defective part replacement and access to software updates for the length of the contract. Service contracts should be billed out in accordance to E-rate guidelines. 2.1.3.1.3. Sugnet School is an installation of 41 new indoor access points. 2.1.3.1.4. The school is completing renovations. Construction crews are expected to be providing a single network cable for each access point location. 2.1.3.1.5. The building floorplan with access point locations will be attached to this RFP. 2.1.3.1.6. The proposed system must meet or exceed the following requirements when all APs are operating 2.1.3.1.6.1. 802.11b support must be turned off on the 2.4Ghz APs. If 802.11b can not be turned off, then the minimum PHY rate of 11 Mbps must be set for 802.11b 2.1.3.1.6.2. 20 Mhz channel widths ONLY for 2.4Ghz radios 2.1.3.1.6.3. 20/40 Mhz channel widths allowed for 5Ghz radios in all installations. 80 Mhz channel widths for 5Ghz radios are allowed in smaller installations but care should be taken to minimize Adjacent and Co-Channel interference. 2.1.3.1.6.4. 160 Mhz channel widths for 5Ghz radios are NEVER to be used. 2.1.3.1.6.5. 80 Mhz channel widths are to be used for 6Ghz radios 2.1.3.1.7. The proposed system must allow for complete, two-way discovery and filtering of Multicast DNS (e.g. Apple Bonjour) enabled devices and services between the wireless and wired networks. Please include documentation describing features, operations, and implementation examples of this required feature 2.1.3.1.8. The system should be designed to provide robust reliability, capacity, and coverage in a one-student, one-device (1:1) environment. The vendor walk-thru will be the designated time for the vendor to collect any information needed about the buildings and/or the environment. No additional appointments will be made to accommodate a vendor predictive site survey. If the vendor provides their own site survey, the proposal should include what site survey software was used, version and/or build number, and the survey requirement settings or preset. Please also include any Tx power assumptions you used for the survey. 2.1.3.1.9. APs must support “band-steering” of 5Ghz and 6Ghz capable clients from 2.4Ghz radios at the time of installation. 2.1.3.1.10. AP and/or the controller must support packet capture functionality and the capture must be readable by the Wireshark packet analyzer or other open-source or no-cost vendor proprietary tool at the time of installation. 2.1.3.1.11. Please describe any wireless spectrum analysis features that the AP and/or controller may have as part of the proposal and the expected “s
