This contract is for maintenance repairs of Type A and Type B double-faced barrier walls, at various locations on I-75, between US-23 and M-57 in Genesee County. The pay items for this contract will be inclusive as described below for Type A and B Barrier Walls and Glare Screen Repairs. All Work must be completed by June 15, 2025. Conc Barrier, Double Face, Inclusive includes the furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment to complete the work; saw cutting the existing barrier wall at the footing, removal and disposal of the existing concrete and steel, providing #6 epoxy coated bars, vertical adhesive anchoring of the #6 epoxy coated bars, 1” expansion joints, curing of concrete, concrete cold weather protection, constructing the plane of weakness joint. In the event that the footing is required to be removed, the placement of the new footing (poured integrally) shall be included in this item. Glare Screen, Conc, Inclusive includes furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment to complete the work; saw cutting the existing glare screen, removal and disposal of the existing concrete and steel, providing #4 epoxy coated bars, vertical adhesive anchoring of the #4 epoxy coated bars with proper embedment, placing horizontal epoxy coated bars per R-76-D, curing of concrete, concrete cold weather protection, and stripping forms.
