• Provide police authorized towing and recovery services for the Detroit Police Department (DPD) including, but not limited to, the removal of motor vehicle, motorcycles, mopeds, boats, recreational vehicles, safes, ATM machines, and other items determined by the City, to a place of safekeeping as determined by the City. • Maintain a minimum of one (1) tow truck on standby during special detail tow assignments. • Respond with the appropriate equipment to a designated point of tow within. twenty (20) minutes of dispatch. DPD shall promptly cancel a tower once information is received that a tow is no longer needed. • Operate in accordance with the highest industry standards and practices. All tow companies shall remain available to respond to calls for service twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. • Remain open for the release of vehicles from 7:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m., Monday- Sunday.
