Crack seal material shall first be applied to all of the streets, trails or parking lots receiving Asphalt Seal Coat. After crack sealing of those streets are complete, crack seal shall be applied to additional streets in the order as indicated on the crack seal street list. The crack sealing material shall be FIELD BLENDED and placed in accordance with the included Overband Crack Sealing Specification. It is the City’s intent to fill cracks that are 1/4” in width and larger. This work shall be paid for at the price bid per square foot of material for the bid item “Overband Crack Sealing” and shall include all labor, materials, and equipment required to prepare the street surface for crack sealing and placement of the crack seal material.
