Except for situations in which hand wrecking is necessary to protect persons from harm or protect infrastructure or surrounding properties from damage, the Contractor must mechanically wreck structures with an excavator in a manner that avoids the free fall of building materials and components. b. Prohibited Activities. The following activities are prohibited during demolition: i. On-site storage or sale of materials and / or equipment earlier than fortyeight hours prior to demolition or later than forty-eight hours after the application of seed; ii. Use of explosives; iii. Intentional burning of any structure or debris; iv. On-site crushing of concrete, bricks, or any other masonry materials.
