Specifications include, but are not limited to: Ingham Intermediate School District, on behalf of the Local Education Agencies of the Ingham County Service Area, is seeking an automated solution for a special education management system. This system will support the collection of various data needed to optimize the delivery of Special Education services to all eligible students. The system should support the business processes for all districts in our service area and must be accessible at the county, district, school, and teacher levels. Business processes include and are not limited to: • IEP Processing • Timeline Tracking • Management Reporting • Compliance Reporting In addition to automating the business processes, the successful vendor will also provide: • 100% web-based, secure solution • Intuitive user interface • Proven interface to the district’s student information system – such as PowerSchool, Skyward, Synergy • Provide an administrator interface to analyze data and monitor compliance with applicable state and federal regulations • Integrate with financial, transportation, and student information systems used in Ingham County • Live technical support for staff members • Automatic notification of timeline events • Multiple bank goals and objectives, customizable by the district • Goals tied to Michigan Alternate Content Expectations and Common Core state standards • Permission driven access by role and sites • Identify related service resource needs for each school within the district based on student plan service requirements and other workload factors • Integrate IEPs and related special education documents with an automated service scheduling and tracking system to support IDEA compliance and ensure optimal service delivery. • Provide Medicaid Reimbursement billing services, including Specialized Transportation with an Adaptation, Personal Care Services, and Related Services • Produces and monitors Section 504 Plans • Produces and monitors Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) • Produces and monitors Non-Public Service Plan (NPSP) • Abide by all applicable state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to education, IDEA, and Medicaid Reimbursement billing
