Specifications include, but are not limited to: The RCKC is seeking bids for qualified operator(s)/driver(s), on an as needed/hourly basis, to operate the following RCKC-owned equipment to perform winter maintenance services, including snow and ice removal, within Kalamazoo County during the 2022/2023 winter season: 1) Contractor agrees to have operator(s)/driver(s) available to the RCKC throughout the 2022/2023 winter season which shall extend from November 15 through April 1 the following spring. 2) Winter Maintenance Trucks (42,000# to 64,000# GVWR) with a multi-directional under body plow, front plow, wing plow and rear mounted computerized ground speed-controlled sander/spreader. 3) Articulated Front End Loader with a three (3) cubic yard bucket and scales. 4) Value of equipment under control of the contractor: Truck/Snow Plow unit - $250,000; Front End Loader - $190,000
