Professional services to include detailed building condition assessments, analysis, cost estimates and investment recommendations to assist the state in prioritizing facility improvements, provide data for budgeting, legislative funding requests, and long-term capital planning. Base study includes one hundred thirty (130) MDOT maintenance buildings/structures at forty-five (45) sites throughout the state of Michigan (upper and lower peninsula). The number and types of structures include: twenty-eight (28) heated storage buildings, forty-nine (49) garages, forty-nine (49) salt storage facilities, three (3) wash bay structures and one (1) office building. Ninety Percent (90%) of locations are in Michigan’s lower peninsula. Provide alternate to include fifty (50) cold storage buildings. Assessments will be conducted through on-site field observations, on-site meetings with MDOT representatives and on-site staff and review of existing documentation where available (limited documentation is available). PSC responsible for means of access to roof locations. Three formal reviews will be required. Initial submission, the Brighton, MI location has been selected for initial study and submission to ensure that the study criteria is being met. Other reviews will be at 50% and 90% completion intervals.
