Specifications include, but are not limited to: Hennepin County wishes to purchase training services for a one-day eight (8) hour educational/cognitive program that includes the following elements: Chemical health education with a specific emphasis on alcohol abuse and the decision process related to drinking and driving; A self-assessment tool oriented to DWI behavior and chemical use; A Victim Impact Panel must be included as part of the curriculum; o Victim Impact Panels must be conducted by a provider approved by Hennepin County to be subcontracted by the proposer; o Proposer is responsible for coordinating the subcontractor to offer the Victim Impact Panel services A cognitive behavioral approach, practice problem solving, and interactive skill building to prevent recidivism; Proposer must track and report client participation and completion/non-completion of services to DOCCR; Quality Assurance; o Proposer will send class invitation to designated COUNTY staff to allow COUNTY to conduct random class audits to verify adherence to proposed curriculum; o COUNTY will conduct client surveys following class completion
