Scope of Work for 50-to-60-ton Rough Terrain Crane for Orwell Dam Dewatering
- The purpose of this contract is to provide a minimum of 50 ton and maximum of 60-ton Rough Terrain Hydraulic Crane. The crane shall have a minimum Boom Length of 100’; Jib would not be needed but is acceptable. The crane shall be capable of lifting 10,500 lbs. (after all deductions) at a radius of 60’ with outriggers fully extended to maximum distance of 22.5’center of beam cylinders.
- Delivery date of the crane shall be on or before 16 September 2024 and tentative pick update 15 October 2024 with two (2) one (1) week options. The first option week will begin on 10/16/2024 and end on 10/22/2024. The second option week will begin on 10/23/24 and end on 10/29/2024. Hours for delivery and pick-up must be between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. No deliveries will be received on holidays or weekends. A service technician shall be available within three hours of notification of a breakdown or malfunction.
- The Crane shall be inspected by a qualified person in accordance with EM 385-1-1 which is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety Manual. This is available at the USACE Web Site:

A certificate of compliance shall be provided to USACE by the equipment rental company, a copy of the annual crane inspection, daily operational checklist and any brief machine specific training for the operation of the crane.
In addition, upon delivery of the crane, the crane shall be inspected with USACE personnel and contractor to verify the condition of the crane before it is in the possession of USACE.

5. The Contractor shall quote a weekly rate for the Crane and include the cost for transportation of the crane to and from the job site. Contractor shall also quote on two (2) one (1) week options. Any routine maintenance that would need to be performed during the rental period should also be included in the rental rate. All options will be evaluated based on price and only exercised if needed.
