Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. 14 ft. x 27” high blade with hydraulic forward tip and side shift controls; prefer 27”; can be substituted with 24” high moldboard with City permission. 2. Net minimum horsepower of 150 in gears 1-3, 185 in gears 4-8, with direct drive transmission having 8 forward gears. 3. Minimum vehicle weight of 32,000 pounds. 4. Snow and ice running lights, driving lights, plow lights, amber lights, beacon strobe light mounted on top of the cab. 5. “Slow Moving Vehicle” signs and other safety equipment as required by State and Federal regulations. 6. West Coast mirrors on both sides, with wide angle mirror inside cab. 7. Articulated frame with differential lock and un-lock. 8. Engine heaters for cold starting. 9. Fully serviced prior to delivery to assure operations in extremely cold weather, i.e., proper oil, hydraulic fluid, antifreeze, etc. 10. 14.00 x 24-12 ply or 17.5 x 25-12 ply grader tires in good condition, assured of providing good traction during the snow plowing season. 11. Float valves, positive hydraulic actuation preferred. 12. Ground level fuel fill preferred. 13. Machine to be delivered with full tank of winter-grade fuel and will be returned to vendor with full tank of fuel.
