Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, mobilization, fuel, lubrication, final clean-up, and incidentals necessary for gravel mining and crushing, consisting of excavating, crushing, blending and stockpiling Class 5 Materials in the State Gravel Pit in the Cloquet Forestry Area of Minnesota in Carlton County. Mining and crushing consists of excavating, crushing, blending, and stockpiling • Approximately 7,000 tons (resulting in an estimated 5,000 cu. Yds*) of Class 5 material (as described herein) in the State owned gravel pit in section 16 of township 49 range 19W. • As well as stripping 0.1 acres at the above aforementioned gravel pit to access material as directed by project supervisor. • All finished Class 5 material shall match as closely as possible the MNDOT specifications for Class 5 surfacing material. (MNDOT Spec.3138).
