Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Homeland Security and Emergency Management ("HSEM"), a division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety ("DPS"), intends to proceed with the acquisition of up to Six Thousand (6,000) Personal Record Dosimeters ("PRDs") from Landauer, Inc. ("Landauer"), which meet the needs and requirements of the State as dictated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency ("FEMA"). PRDs are issued as needed in response to an emergency event (when a declared radiological event occurs at a nuclear generating plant in Minnesota). The PRDs are stored until such an event occurs. Effective expiration period of the PRD devices is every two (2) to three (3) years, or per manufacturer’s recommendations, whichever is longer.
