Specifications include, but are not limited to: Oversee the operations of the fitness center • Lead planning and implementation process for fitness center programs and activities • Provide individual exercise education and counseling to fitness center members (orientations, fitness assessments, personal exercise plans) • Monthly reporting (utilization, participation, etc.) • Lead a variety of group fitness classes • Oversee facility operations including cleanliness, equipment maintenance, service agreements • Implement and monitor procedures for medical clearance, member management and member safety (well maintained equipment and facility, correct exercise protocols and techniques, emergency response, etc.) • Develop and implement wellness programs related to the fitness center (such as walking challenges, weight training programs, behavioral health campaigns) • Actively promote and grow number of employees using the center through a variety of outreach programs such as lunch and learns, stretch breaks, and fitness center open houses. • Develop wellness communications relevant to the fitness center to be shared with employees through our employee newsletters, employee intranet site and bulletin boards.
