Property owners who are enrolled in our Condemned Tree Assistance program agree to planting a new tree through the Condemned Tree Assistance Program. The City Project Manager will provide the tree planting list of properties enrolled in the program to the Contractor. Upon receiving the planting list, the Contractor shall first schedule and conduct a consultation visit to meet with the property owner to provide guidance on tree species and site selection, educate the owner about the environmental value of canopy trees, provide education on young tree care in advance of the planting, and answer any questions they have. Promotion of the Condemned Tree Assistance Program and intake of applications will be conducted by the City.
