The renovation of Eastman Hall will provide for the co-location of Student Health Services (SHS), Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Human Performance Lab (HPL), and UChoose into Eastman Hall. The selected Design Team shall: Prepare all design documents using computer aided design and drafting technology in an electronic data exchange file format acceptable to Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Project will not initially be managed using Minnesota State Colleges and Universities web-based enterprise project management system (EPMS), but may be required at a future date. Evaluate and reprogram as necessary, the project original predesign, considering the current program needs for this project. Meet with stakeholders and project partners to update project program needs and evaluate the optimum GSF to optimize program space.. Work with the campus Construction Manager at risk (CM@r) to assist the campus in evaluating construction phasing options that minimize the disruption of the academic schedule. The Design Team needs to clearly communicate design and cost ramifications of the schedules impact to allow the campus a complete understanding of the design and schedule decisions. Ensure that any exterior building alterations for improvements blend with and complement the aesthetics of the existing buildings and the overall campus architecture and landscape (or grounds).
