The Biloxi Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking qualifications from Architectural and Engineering firms that have knowledge and experience in all areas of construction and modernization of residential and commercial type buildings specifically in the multifamily low-income market such as HUD funded and Low Income Housing Tax Credit programs. Our plans include, as needed interior and exterior renovations to our existing stock of rental units and other buildings. The firms shall be able to provide capital improvement consulting services, surveying services, landscape design and environmental services for existing properties. The A&E firms will be required to demonstrate their knowledge and experience in all facets of infrastructure, structural, electrical, mechanical and environmental in the modernization of multifamily housing and support offices. Our typical task orders will be for writing scopes of work, specifications and preparing bid documents for repairs to units due to Fire, Termites and Water Damage.
