The Engineer will be responsible for providing all engineering services through project closeout in accordance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1.) assist with the application process by providing Preliminary Engineering Reports and Cost Estimates; 2.) environmental surveys and assessments; 3.) prepare NEPA documentation including Section 106 and Section 7 correspondence; 4.) prepare plans and specifications; 5.) distribute bid documents; 6.) assist in bid opening and prepare bid tabulation; 7.) assist in the execution of construction contracts; 8.) hold pre-construction conference; and 9.) perform construction inspection including periodic reports to the County and approve all payment requests.
