Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Design a “WOW” feature at the entrance of the Museum of Mississippi History. The Mississippi Civil Rights Museum (MCRM) has a large sculptural element that attracts the attention of the visitors and draws them from the lobby to MCRM. With its entrance across the lobby from MCRM, MMH needs something to grab the visitor’s attention. See Attachment E. 2. MDAH is seeking an exhibit designer, to work with MDAH staff and MDAH Tribal partners to refresh the exhibit content and design in the Museum of Mississippi History’s First Peoples Gallery. In conjunction with its Tribal partners, MDAH has developed a concept (see Attachment F). This RFQ is all inclusive for exhibit design with appropriate documentation, graphics, research, AV development, scriptwriting and label development, and oversight of exhibit fabrication and installation. The existing casework in the First Peoples Gallery is to remain in place. The images and drawings of the existing space are detailed in Attachment G.
