2.1 EXPERIENCE 2.1.1 Certified Event Director. 2.1.2 Must have experience with races that have had 10,000 plus runners. 2.1.3 Must be able to measure out the course and get the course certified through Road Running Technical Council. 2.2 TECHNOLOGY 2.2.1 MyLaps Sports Bib Tag Timing System. 2.2.2 High read range and robust anti-collision mechanism that can handle demanding environmental conditions (snow, rain, ice, wind). 2.2.3 System must be able to handle large volumes of timing devices to be read simultaneously. 2.2.4 The City will drop ship race bibs to the event management group. Event management group should install a disposable timing device on the back of each race bib prior to race week. 2.2.5 The Bib Tag decoder system must be able to measure a minimum of fifty (50) Bib Tags passing per second, in addition to at least one (1) independent backup timing system. 2.2.6 Must have primary detection mats, as well as backup detection mats, at the start, finish and intermediate timing locations. Shall also include a minimum of one (1) Time Machine Finish Line Backup (10-Key) system. 2.2.7 Must have a camera that will video record the finish line for the duration of the race, including date and time stamp.
