Specifications include, but are not limited to: Harvesting should occur between the months of May and November of each calendar year. Any exceptions to this should be approved by the District. The District shall not be responsible for providing facilities for storage of hay or equipment used by the Contractor. The District shall not be responsible for the security and/or condition of any vehicles used by the Contractor. Only authorized equipment that is necessary for the harvesting shall be permitted on the property. Equipment and vehicles may remain on the site only during the active harvesting. The Contractor may use the property only for the harvesting. It is the District's preference that the harvesting consist of a rotation of soybeans and wheat. Any other crops shall require prior approval before the harvesting begins. The awarded Contractor shall not impede or deny access to other contractors or other activities occurring on the property, if applicable. The awarded Contractor shall not alter the property in any way, other than the activities identified herein, without the expressed written permission of the District. The awarded Contractor shall not hunt or trap or allow hunting or trapping on any District property. The awarded Contractor shall understand that harvesting is "as is," and the District is offering no warranty, express or implied, and that the District offers no guarantee. Evaluation criteria shall include, but not be limited to: Best overall value for the District and References and Experience. Consideration will be given to the length of time the awarded Contractor has been in operation, providing similar services, past performance history, and references. Annual Payment for harvesting shall be made to the District by May 1st of every calendar year.
