1. Manage investment funds in a portfolio according to Truman’s investment policy statement (IPS), specifically the Truman State University Foundation’s policies and bylaws Chapter 9 Investments. 2. Develop investment strategies to maximize earnings while balancing the constraints of cash flow needs. 3. Execute security purchases and/or sales with broker/dealers in accordance with the Truman’s IPS. 4. Provide monthly investment statements no later than ten (10) business days after the conclusion of any month to include, but not limited to, individual security values at both market and cost, security ratings, transaction details, investment earnings and investment portfolio summary statistics. 5. Provide quarterly investment reports including a description of market conditions, investment performance and suggested changes to investment strategies. 6. Review investment performance and recommendations with Truman’s Finance and Auditing Committee on a quarterly basis. Meet with committee as needed to review investment strategies. 7. Coordinate with Truman’s custodian to ensure appropriate safe-keeping and reporting of investment assets.
