5. MOWING REQUIREMENTS 5.1 Contractor must comply with the following information throughout the completion of the project provided they do not interfere with the other documents attached to the bid. 5.1.1 Any deviation from the bid documents which may arise during the work must be addressed and approved by the Project Manager prior to completion of work, with a contract amendment being issued by UCM. 5.2 All of the work associated with the project shall be completed in a workmanlike manner according to industry standards and those shown/listed in the Specifications attached to the Ebid Bid Attachment section. 5.3 The Contractor is responsible for obtaining and paying of all fees and charges associated with permits or licenses required to complete the work for this project. 5.3.1 UCM is not subject to most permits in Warrensburg, but it is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure this is applicable for this project. 5.4 Contractors will be given a location to park vehicles and stage equipment during the term of the project. 5.4.1 Parking on the main UCM campus requires a permit from Public Safety. The cost of the permit is the responsibility of the contractor. 5.5 All work related to the project shall be included in the total amount agreed to in the final contract. 5.6 Contractor takes full responsibility for all their employees and any subcontractors who are hired to work on the project. 5.7 Contractor must coordinate work outside of normal business hours with Project Manager. Mowing shall be performed at the following locations in the following manner: 5.8 Zone 1 Mitchell Street Farm - 723 S Mitchell Street: contractor shall mow and trim the green shaded area approximately every 7-10 days but may vary during the mowing season due to weather conditions. (Approximately 9.5 Acres) 5.8.1 Minimum of 15-20 feet are needed mowed & trimmed adjacent to the main roadways 5.8.2 Minimum of 10 feet adjacent to driveways, buildings and hay bales. 5.8.3 Paths need to be maintained around each “Native Warm Season Grass Research Plot” 5.9 Zone 2 Prussing Farm - 445 E Division Road: contractor shall mow and trim the green shaded area approximately every 7-10 days but may vary during the mowing season due to weather conditions. (Approximately 7.75 Acres) 5.10 Zone 3 Old Fraternity Complex - 820 S Holden Street: contractor shall mow and trim the green shaded area approximately every 7-10 days but may vary during the mowing season due to weather conditions. (Approximately 11.75 Acres) 5.11 Zone 4 Greenwood Park - 7 Greenwood Circle: contractor shall mow and trim the green shaded area approximately every 7-10 days but may vary during the mowing season due to weather conditions. (Approximately 6 Acres) 5.12 Zone 5 Central Village - 1010 S Holden Street: contractor shall mow and trim the green shaded area approximately every 7-10 days but may vary during the mowing season due to weather conditions. (Approximately 2.75 Acres) 5.13 Zone 6 Missouri Safety Center - 1200 S Holden Street: contractor shall mow and trim the green shaded area approximately every 7-10 days but may vary during the mowing season due to weather conditions.(Approximately 5.5 Acres)
