Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City’s current lease agreement for use of the Parkville Train Depot expires December 31, 2023. As a result, the City is requesting proposals for a lease agreement as it desires the use of the land and building that will best serve the public and community interest — whether by enhancing the daily cultural, social or recreational needs for residents and the downtown; through the sale of goods and/or food and beverages directly to consumers; or for the engagement and exchange of professional and individual services. It should be noted that the City cannot sell or deed the property to another entity through 2025 per conditions of various federal and state grants received over the years for the rehabilitation of the train depot building.
