Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), Office of Rural Health and Primary Care (ORHPC) requires to extend contract CS221795001 to deliver the new Public Health Workforce Preparedness Certificates to provide a 48-credit hour Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program, under Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Health Disparities grant funding. A T Still University of Health Science (ATSU) has established an on-line platform for students pursuing careers with a MPH degree and training. ATSU’s MPH degree program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). ATSU is the only higher education, four-year institution, in the State of Missouri that offers an online certification program as a pathway to a MPH degree. The certificates offered are comprised of four of the MPH courses, which strengthens the public health infrastructure, service delivery, and partnership networks. As the only higher education, four-year institution in the State of Missouri, ATSU is the only entity able to provide the required services for the Public Health Workforce Preparedness Certificates, as the next accreditation review does not occur until 2028.
