The City of Columbia Utilities department is seeking offers for the lease of four (4) truck chassis. It is preferred that the chassis are from the same manufacturer, same truck model and same manufacture year. The City shall consider demo models. All standard equipment for necessary operation shall be included with unit bid. All systems shall be installed and operational at time of delivery. Delivery times for the trucks, Monday through Friday, 8:00am through 4:00pm. City may schedule on-site demonstrations to thoroughly evaluate, test and compare the equipment offered. Demonstrations (if required) shall be scheduled between the hours of 8:00am. through 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Contractor shall be responsible for the following, at a minimum: • Provide all service, maintenance and repair at no additional cost (excluding wear parts and negligence). • Perform the following every 250 hours: - Change engine oil & filter - Check air filter and change. - Check transmission, steering, differential, hydraulic, engine coolant fluids and add if needed. - Lube the body and chassis. • Perform the following every 500 hours: - All 250-hour service items - Change fuel and coolant filters - Change hydraulic filters - Wash radiator Perform the following every 2,000 hours: - All 250- and 500-hour service items - Change differential fluid - Change transmission fluid and filters...
