The City of Webster Groves, Missouri, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the demolition of a residential structure located at 843 N Forest Ave, within the city limits. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the complete removal of the structure, disconnection of utilities, and site restoration to a uniform grade. Additionally, the City will require the removal of dead trees and excessive vegetation on the subject properties. The work must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including the Webster Groves Municipal Code, 2015 International Building Code, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, and St. Louis County Department of Public Health Air Pollution Control Program. The selected contractor shall be responsible for the following: Demolition and Removal: o Complete demolition of structures, including foundations, basements, fences, driveways, and other hardscaping. o Removal of all construction debris, including but not limited to bricks, wood, concrete, and roofing materials. Waste Disposal in accordance with St, Louis County Department of Public Health Air Pollution Control Program Release required. Utility Disconnection: o Proper disconnection and capping of all utility services, including gas, water, sewer, and electric, in accordance with utility company requirements and city regulations. Tree and Vegetation Removal: o Removal of dead trees and excessive vegetation (if included), as directed by the City of Webster Groves. Site Restoration: o Backfill and grading of the lot to a uniform grade to match the surrounding landscape. o Application of topsoil and seeding to prevent erosion and promote new vegetation growth.
