2.1 Primary Care Veterinarian shall examine and treat all animals, prescribe medications as required, oversee a preventative health care program, coordinate diagnostic and laboratory services and carry out euthanasia as needed. __ __ 2.2 Provide emergency and wellness exams, necropsies for investigations and vaccinations for animals associated with the Taney County Animal Control Facility. __ __ 2.3 Process tests and lab specimens as needed. __ __ 2.4 Participates in the adoption program for dogs and cats. __ __ 2.5 Performs surgeries as requested for dogs and cats. __ __ 2.6 Additional services may be requested, which are determinant of the animals’ needs. __ __ 2.7 Veterinarian shall be currently practicing. __ __ 2.8 Shall have three (3) references of animal owners under their care within the last twelve (12) months. __ __ 2.9 Requested care of sick and/or injured animals in emergency situations during veterinarian business hours. __ __ 2.10 Shall be able refer to other veterinarian specialist(s) if deemed necessary. __ __ 2.11 Pricing will be based on a per service rate for regular hour visits and emergency service outside regular hours, to be submitted in your own format.
