The Township of Bloomfield is accepting bids for the Removal of a Belding Tank Model C-CCR-8-11979, with a capacity of 11,979 gallons. The replacement shall be three, Belding Tank Technologies FRP chemical storage tanks, model C-FSV-I-10-6267, equivalent or better. One of these tanks shall be dedicated to storing brine solution, the other two shall be linked together for storing liquid calcium chloride. Plumbing shall be parallel for the two systems to an appropriate point near the pump to where a three-way ball valve shall be installed, along with appropriate supports, anchors and fittings to switch between the off position, and the position for each system to be pumped into equipment for usage.
The proposal shall include labor to remove and replace the existing tank, remove the existing steel cradle, grind down the concrete bases for the cradle, to a point necessary to maintain the base for the pipe support, replacement of the waterproof membrane, electrical work and connection to existing plumbing.
The successful bidder must meet and provide all requirements as outlined in the specifications package contained herein. The bid form contains general specifications which are used as the basis for the overall bid evaluation. All bids shall be in conformance with and subject to General Specifications and other bid documents as contained herein.
