Drawings and specifications will be available after 12:00 p.m. local time, Thursday September 19, 2013 on the Michigan Inter-Governmental Trade Network (MITN-www.govbids.com) at no cost. Hard copies can also be purchased and picked up from: ARC Document Solutions - Troy, 1009 W. Maple Road Clawson, MI 48017; for a non-refundable fee of forty-two and 69/100 ($42.69) dollars which will be required at the time of order for each set of hard copy plans and specifications. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, exclusive of Pressure Reducing Vault, provide all labor and equipment necessary and incidental to complete the Work as set forth in this invitation in accordance with the Charter Township of Clinton standards. These principal items include, but are not limited to: 1. 7 LF of 15” PVC SDR 26 Open-Cut gravity sanitary sewer pipe. 2. Restoration of all disturbed areas to include pavement, sidewalks and curbs. 3. Other miscellaneous work-related items. In order to provide Clinton Township with contractors and subcontractors who will carry out the work in a timely and satisfactory manner, an approved prequalification for sanitary sewer construction in existing residential or commercially developed areas must be on file with the Township prior to the bid opening. The qualifications for the general contractor and all subcontractors to be used on the project will be reviewed on the basis of the proposed bidder’s past performance on work of a similar nature for Clinton Township and other owners.
