The Charter Township of Independence (Township) Parks, Recreation and Seniors (ITPRS) are requesting proposals to construct three rain gardens (approximately 2603 square feet of surface area) on the property of ITPRS’s Bay Court Park located at 6970 Andersonville Road, Clarkston, MI 48346
Consultation services to oversee the design and implementation of the rain gardens is led by Donald Carpenter, Ph.D., P.E., LEED AP of Drummond Carpenter, PLLC
The rain gardens will be located in the lawn area between the Historic Brady Lodge Building and parking/open space areas. The north rain garden (RGO1 on the plans) has a surface area of 440 ft2; the south east rain garden (RGO2 on the plans) is 520/980 – 1500 total ft2; the south rain garden (RGO3 on the plans) is 662 ft2.
In summary, the vendor will be responsible for complete installation of the three rain gardens shown on the plans including providing all construction materials and equipment, in addition to providing and installing all native plants.
