Summary of Specifications:
Sealed Proposals for the construction of Grand River Low Pressure Sanitary Sewer will be received by the Lyon Township Clerk’s office, 58000 Grand River Avenue, New Hudson, Michigan 48165 until 2:00 pm local time, Friday, October 21, 2011 at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals must be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the project manual. Faxed or emailed copies will not be accepted. The project includes the following primary components: - Installation of approximately 1,600 LF of 2” HDPE , 200 LF of 3” HDPE and 2,800 LF of 4” HDPE sanitary sewer by directional drill method. - Installation of 12 - 4” gate valves , 7 air release valves, 11 clean-outs, 2 tapping sleeves and 10 concrete structures and related appurtenances. - Restoration of all disturbed areas to include pavement restoration, sidewalk restoration and seed and mulch.
